Browsing Site

Hey everyone i have a small suggestion for the site. Currently you don`t have to be a member to access the forums/posts and i saw how madden insane`s was where you have to be a member so why doesn`t this site have this?

If people can just see our posts on tips or anything else then they have no reason to join because they are getting what they need without joining. I hope you take this suggestion into consideration

I wouldn`t of said anything but anytime i`m on there`s 4 or 5 guests and nobody new joins so obviously they must be getting what they need and leaving

I did think that a while back, but I was saying maybe they can browse around 1st to see what we offer. if we do make it so you have to be a member to join, then that might not make people want to join. but if we dont make it that way then people will just look at our post, etc. I have noticed there are a few guest that come and just browse, and leave.

we need to have a site discussion/vote/whatever you wanna call it, and me, book, and the rest of the gang will definately have a further look into it.

agreed! because there are alredy quite a few madden sites around....guest actually feel no need to join another one if they don't have to. but, if it were that way here at MH before they could actually view the tips.....that would spark their curiosity.

Well I am one who checks out what the other forum have in a way posting, if a forum has alot of posting like say 40 new post or more a day then I may look to join to add my 2 cents.

Yeah but if you look at it other way they could read up on any tips they need and then be on their way

the game is old and football season is over so there wouldnt be many post on any site
honestly it gets boring when all the online bs happens too
plus people have other things to do so 40 post a day wont be happen for a while
people need new and exiting things

And this is what the problem is, How do we get this forum moving into the realm of the big boys? first thing in my opinion is we have to stop fighting the process and grow. Now this should be the last thread on this topic but we seem to keep on rehashing this the same topic day in day out, lets talk more about the game of Madden.

True booker. BTW has it been set that you have to be a member to see posts? I don`t mind posting some of my defensive plays but i only want it for members

I will check this out for you, and fix it so that members can only see certain forums and post.

Yeah maybe allow them to see welcome thread or something like that because if i`m going to throw out some plays for people i want it to be for people that contribute here
