black background in the chatbox

we need to keep a white background because its easy on the eyes. it might not be the fanciest background, but its easy to locate stuff with lighter backgrounds.

as for graphics, i cant speak on that. book is the specialist, if hes willing to hook it up then good. (im still learning how to work with the graphics)
