Engage eight...

Anyone else got some plays outta engage eight play?? I got a few and dey very tuff vs like 3rd and 4 or shorter cus it stop run/PA which seem to be common for people to run on 3rd short

Well i run it like this....show blitz....Drop DE into coverage to left....Take the safety thats pose to blitz and cover TE and they will typically throw to the RB so be ready to get there with safety....This is great when people do play action on 3rd down and i use it

I run it on some 3rd and long situations, knowing they will send out a deep guy and won't have time to pass. Also if you bring 8 into the box on plays that aren't blitz, then put 8 into the box with an Engage Eight play, it's a sack 90% of the time
