Question for the avid ps2 gamers: After the ps2 days are over, what system are you advancing to?

Our ps2 days are slowing but surely coming to an end.

So I ask the avid ps2 community this question, after the ps2 days are over, what system are you advancing to (if you are advancing)?

As far as I know, ps3 online is free. 360 online you have to have xbox live. The cost of xbox live varies with the amount that you suscribe. 360 has the better madden online community, and more stuff to do. Like clubs. Ps3 has a good community, but doesnt have clubs.

Im a sony guy, so I have to stick with that. I will try to get a 360 too, because the online play is superb.

i used to have a ps3, and i thought the online play was exactly the same as far as madden goes. people say the servers suck on ps3 but i didnt experience that in 3 months i had the system. the only difference is the "xbox live" features you get, but i still prefer ps3 online idk why it just seems better set up to me.

i got 360 cus alot more ppl prefer it than ps3 n all my boyz got 1

IF THE PS2 DAYS ARE ABOUT TO COME TO AN END THEN I WILL HAVE TO GO TO THE XBOX 360 SYSTEM. AND LEARN HOW TO PLAY THERE BRAND OF FOOTBALL BUT IT GOING TO BE A LITTLE WHILE MAYBE AROUND THANKSGIVING OR CHRISTMAS BEFORE I CHANGE OVER.

I'm on PS3, although I never played much of madden on it, I will get the game tonight and do the best to figure it out....hate being a novice again but hey, I will try my best. Right now I am downloading the demo of M11 on my PS3 and will try it out in a bit.

Thank you...I downloaded and played the online demo Colts Vs. Jets on PS3....it isn't that bad. I won on all-pro 21-19. Only thing I disliked on the madden for ps3 is the playbooks. It takes so long to look through the playbook. So I used some of the new gameflow option where the cordinator picks the plays for you based on the team you are playing. Overall I can get used to it...I have no choice lol

it prob be ps3 because i dont want to have to pay just to get roster's just like u have to for the 360,also i dont play much online i mostly play offline i think i played a total of maybe 4 games online since i got madden 08 threw 10 and it was same stuff happening with the cheese so id rather just stick to playing the cmp.

I am a off-line franchise guy. Last year i played 16 seasons (no sims). I hope EA does something with NG franchise. Owners mode would be nice!! With CG, the off-season is as fun as the regular season.

I don't know really, I really do like the new xbox console, but its really up to which brand you prefer and what service you like. PSN has alot of good features, but xbox live really gets all the big exclusives, so its up to you, and its 50 a year for live, but really, its not really that much if you think about it.

PS3 im moving on too. i talked to ea about adding clubs to madden 10 for ps3. i had a long conversation with the guy and his manager. just wanted to find out more information. he told me its people like you who gets the game changed. so i asked the future madden community. CALL UP AND DO SOMETHIN ABOUT IT. dnt just sit around and do nothing.. you wont achieve anything

Thats cool but clubs really aren't a big deal to me lol, thats whats up if they do that tho

Yeah if i ever were to get a PS3 i wouldn`t care about clubs just play a game here and there

I'll stick it out w/ '11 as long as I can...I already have a PS3, but we all know that PS3 plays alot worse and I mainly play offline franchise which PS2 still rules

I KNO BUT CLUBS FOR SOME REASON GIVES ME A REASON TO PLAY.. LIKE THE LEVEL OF COMPETITION OR SOMETHIN.. BUT ME BEING MY OWN LEADER WITH MY OWN CLUB IS THE REASON Y I STILL PLAY THE P2 2DAY

I play ps2 madden because its more fluid and more smoother. I understand next gen has the graphics and some more stuff that ps2 doesnt have, but thats really it. I dont want to sound like im "living the life", but I do own a ps3. I wish we could all be on the same system when our ps2 days are all over and we finally make that jump (if you are jumping) to another system, but whatever happens happens.

Still moving fwd on my PS2, even though I've owned a PS3 for 4 years. Just better offline franchise, which I've finalkly been able toi get rosters done w/ every transaction thru 10 minutes ago. Also have a franchise the mirrors the real NFL season. Most of the scoring in the games I sim is pretty much right on line w/ what happened in reality, which I guess is due to my rosters being tweaked just right

Maybe you missed my point...PS2 plays much better offline franchise...I own a PS3. If PS3 was even close to PS2 and what the game has offered for years, I'd be on PS3. It's almost as if 2 different companies make Madden for the 2 systems
