How can i open up my passing game.

I been just playing my madden 10 and i am unable to establish a strong passing game. The short stuff is all that i am able to get the long and the slants are being shutdown. I guess it going to take some time trying to get use to the differnt qb throwing motion. But i really thought since i had put down 09 and pick up 10 that wouldnt be a problem but i guess it is. So i ask those who play the ps2 version how can i get my offense and passing game into gear. ANYONE with any suggestion on how to get this right please post and let me in on how to get my passing game back up to par and thanks im out alc

You should try some play action and crossing routes thats all i can think of without actually showin you stuff

yes start basic running n playaction deep otta same formation so they wnt never kno wat 2 think das how ppl lock u up dey wait 2 see wat u kum out n ere play lol like 2 wr,2hb,1te den wen dey see da formation dey think dey kno wat ur calling this should help
